Coughing

Bllarggh.

The coughing. Thankfully, it's not The Hoop. I went to Dr. Stockley today and we chatted about chimps, and Goma, and he asked me if I had any exciting parasites from Goma.

I said that I probably did, but that they were co-habitating with "Moe" quite well and weren't causing a ruckus.

He didn't prescribe me beer, like he did for Eric, but he did give me tons of cough syrup as well as nose-drops to keep my nose from running.

I do feel sort of like death, even though I did get to take a 3 hour long bath this afternoon where I washed my hair and finished reading Memoirs of a Geisha (again) in preparation for renting the movie.

Liz asked me if I would go back and chimp mum for a month while she got things set up in Bukavu. And really, I'm considering it.

Also, I haven't started writing my Columbia essay because I am petrified with fear of rejection. Someone kick me.

I'm actually not quite sure how many I've got! :D I'll definitely give them names once I go to a proper doctor and find out when I get back to the US~

Or at least, that's what I call him. And I too am SO glad that it's not the hoop, but it doesn't stop me from feeling like utter shite!
