I refuse to believe that it is snowing. Yes, I know that it's April, and it's not as though it's June, but I had just opened my window last week in anticipation of Spring. And I hate being disappointed.
Speaking of being far from disappointed, I've gotten the most beautiful, heart-warming emails from![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
rosefox and sinboy while they are away in Ireland and the UK. I miss them terribly! New York feels very lacking.
My choral singers concert got cancelled last night -- which is sad, because it means I don't get to spend my Wednesdays nights singing, and additionally,
rosefox and I have both done SO much work and practiced so hard!
Sad to report, but I will not be coming to Boston this coming weekend. I will eventually make it up there, but the costs were just getting to be too much for me, and I'm not quite feeling up to traveling. Plus, I think that I'll stay home on Saturday and do schoolwork and finally paint my Easter Eggs.
Tonight is Aikido withalexsirkman, arthayamana and jlc -- they ensnared me last Thursday as I was walking home to come to Aikido instead and I had so much fun [throwing people on the floor]. So, unless I find some compelling reason not to, I will probably continue to go from here on in.
I got a comment fromjustbeast, who had to look up Lou Reed! And I was so media-demanding inspired to share Lou with everyone, because he's wonderful. I share because I care. And, right after I saw his comment, I immediately uploaded Transformer, which is my favorite album. So download it! (Don't forget too that The Best of Leonard Cohen is still up there too)

(Oh sweet! I've been wanting to find out more about Leonard Cohen's stuff, too. I love his 'First We Take Manhattan', 'Waiting For The Miracle' and 'Suzanne' (although I secretly like the Peter Gabriel cover of that better). W00t!)
