I haven't written any posts at all in like, three days. Probably because I've been totally useless and also sick.

Luckily, I wasn't super sick. I ruled out malaria pretty early on. It wasn't stomach sickness, but when you've got 3 baby chimps, it's really necessary to keep them away from human zoonotic diseases.

So I'm in the office today, mostly healthy, and I'll be going back to the chateau this afternoon. Just waiting for materials and groceries.

I miss the kids.

I realized today too that, by downloading a US Holidays extension for my iCal, I would be informed of upcoming holidays.

And, in a moment of surrealism, I saw that Valentine's Day was coming up.

Knowing that just feels somehow strange.
