Glorious Containers!
Aug. 21st, 2007 06:41 pmI swear, I've never been OCD about really anything -- okay, that's a lie, but cleaning and organization was never my forté.
Today is the first time in weeks that I've had a closet that stood on its own two feet. All the clothing I've been hoarding, hermetically sealed in its dry-cleaner bags, sitting on the floor, guarding against Lester The Angry Peeing Cat, needed to be hung, aired out, and of course, organized.
So now I'm listening to ridiculously peppy music and organizing my sweaters and shirts by season. Sweatshirts, sleeveless, strapless, spaghetti straps, v-necks, turtleneecks.
God, I'm really just a big, big loser.
I tried playing Guitar Hero this morning, and my hands nearly seized up post-kayaking. I tried a less grip-intensive game, and I suddenly had empathy for people with arthritis.
Am I only organizing because I can't procrastinate by playing video games?
...maybe
Either way, I've already put all my shoes in the shoe rack that
xoder built me. And taken all my little chatchkies and clutches and put them in little containers.
Little containers! Who knew they were so fun! It's really just an untapped concept for a video game if you ask me ...
