I need to get back on schedule. I went to bed too late last night, and am completely groggy and incoherent today.

Last night was the first night in a long time that I've had to sleep under my covers-- all of them.

Wacky Signs

The first couple weeks of school is all about intense study.  Making sure that you know how to do things properly before you're asked to do them repeatedly, over and over again, much like an overeducated, affluent mouse in a diamond maze.


But some of these things are just ridiculous.  So I thought I'd share.

DO NOT USE YOUR MOUTH TO PICK UP ITEMS IN THE CHEMISTRY LAB

WHEN USING THE PIPETTE, DO NOT INDUCE SUCTION ORALLY

DO NOT THROW FOOD TRASH INTO THE TOILET

I could swear there were some more, which I'm sure I'll remember later.  But my "favorite" thing I've heard today:

[after summarizing my academic timeline] Oh, really, You're SO OLD!!

... I don't think I need to say anything else.
