Somehow getting an impression the chimps are a tad more rowdy in person than it appears in those peaceful face shots. Esp the young ones.
Definitely tickles some "aww cute" reflex :)

PS. Suffice it to say when you're randomly exploring the net there's some weird connections and then there's the really weird ones, landed in the LJ in a bit roundabout way. Random social connections at work. Good writing, gives some color to one of the more exotic locations one can think of.
