A Weekend in Funny Montages

How can a weekend that starts with two people having sex in the back row of the Rocky Horror theater while people took Camera-Phone-Video be any wackier?
It was a busy, busy, weekend with
theloriest visiting and honestly, I am still tired. After staying up for a big portion of the night on Friday after Rocky Horror with Cayenne,
rosefox,
xoder and
shoujo_mallet, we still managed to get up and out of the house before 10 am on Saturday. I took Lori and
moria06 out to brunch at the Dish. We had a New York Saturday and went to Lafine for manicures and pedicures. Very springy - everyone's toes were Easter colors.
We wandered through the city in vain looking for a particular store but found other equally exciting stores to entertain us and suck up the quantity of our wallets.
Saturday night was filled with Mary Poppins: The Musical, which was filled with flash and had a very high production value, even if Mary scared the crap out me. I mean, what's a spoonful of sugar when she can vaporize you with a twitch of her Quirky Umbrella?
While there were no people having sex in the back of the New Amsterdam Theater during Mary Poppins, there were some horribly spoiled, entitled children in the row behind us, who took every opportunity to cry about the quality of their orchestra seats.
We made it out to
noranac's party late -- the Q train ride was a long one but it was wonderful to see Rigel and be just a little bit social.
On Sunday, I wandered through the fabric district so Lori could buy fabrics for her sister's birthday. And just like that, the weekend was over!
I felt bad, being unable to wait with Lori for her train but, always running, I rushed off to bid
rosefox and
sinboy adieu before they went off to the UK and Ireland! A perfect bon voyage, and I felt a little sad as their taxi drove away.
I made my way uptown to see
xoder and he convinced me to leave my house and watch The Dresden Files.
I will admit that I'm in a bit of a funk, but if anyone would care to volunteer to paint easter eggs with me today or tomorrow, and potentially hug and snuggle me, it would be greatly appreciated.
And with that, I'm off to Swahili.
It was a busy, busy, weekend with
