If I've forgotten you, I'm a huge bitch. Because I really loved that you came.

The sneak peek went really well. A lot of people came, and they seemed interested and I got lots of good photos (which will be posted shortly). We started off showing trailers, and then moved into the animation. The animation was really well received, as well it should be, since it's fucking hilarious. We had speakers plugged into the television, but sound still ended up being an issue since there were mini-dorks and LOTR CCG-dorks sharing our airwaves. Mason was clever and packed his amp and microphone, so we put the mike in front of the speakers and got better volume.

I felt like Mason played a little too much of the movie, because people were having trouble hearing, and couldn't really follow well. It was rather weird and unexpected as his mother was chatting me up *extremely* (thank you liz for attempting to save me), but I think I did okay. I also met Mason's friend Jami, and Cabral, both of whom I liked immensely. Mason and I wore the May-Sun T-shirts we'd made the night before with some ghetto iron-on transfers, so we were big dorks :P

Mason did extemely well in front of the mike, he was very personable and funny. People also loved Chris (obviously) and he got a few laughs. Afterwards, we had a Q&A. I had asked a few people to break the ice with some questions, but a bunch of people I hadn't even poked asked questions, which was excellent.

We sold *8* whole DVD's alone (heehee hee) but I think overall the reception was good and perhaps the word of mouth can begin. Go forth and prosper!

Afterwards, it seemed impossible to remove the dorks from Dreamwizards -- everyone lingered. Mason waited for his friend from work, Steph, who didn't actually show up in time for, well, any of the event. She's the chick from the flyer, for the curious. ...

...

Anyway, we had plans to game, but first Mason and Cabral and I watched "Full-Time Killers" which I had seen at the Hong Kong movie fest with Shimin and others. I enjoyed it equally much the second time, David came back from SilverDocs, and we all chatted, and headed out to go game at the Shack, only to find Rob and Chris in my parking lot.

So, no travel.

We headed back up to my house and waited for Al. Poor Mason came with a terrible toothache - i'm pretty sure one of his wisdom teeth is impacted. So, everyone went home, and now I LJ in my underpants and the solace of my alone-ness :)

Anyway, Thank you again to everyone who came.
