Thank goodness that my mother knew better than to book me on that flight with the 50 minute layover... I would have been screwed!!!

But here I am, halfway home and it's hotter here in the UK than it is in Africa!! Quite literally, HOT DAMN!

Additionally, this internet kiosk keyboard sucks.

I've tried to stay awake the whole flight thus far to give myself a chance to reset when I get home tonight. The experience still feels surreal, and I keep expecting to open my eyes and be back in Africa. I do feel empowered nonetheless.

I watched Kinky Boots too,and I'm quite positive that Lola the Drag Queen is being played by the Operative from Serenity

Okay, if I type any more here I'm likely to get spontaneous carpal tunnel.

It's funny, at the beginning of the movie he makes the ugliest drag queen I've ever seen, but he definitely improves as the movie goes on!

I'd never have guessed from seeing him as the Operative!

Ever seen Priscilla Queen of the Desert ? The guy who plays the main Drag Queen/central character is also Agent Smith in the Matrix movies, AND Elrond in Lord of the Rings. And lemme tell ya - THAT is an ugly drag queen. Faboo actor, though - gotta love somebody who absolutely REFUSES to be typecast. ;)
