You know it's not a good sign when you can hear their claw catching in your flesh.

I am watching Gato Diablo while reene and bannoubunkacoby are in Japan.

Yesterday, it took me 10 minutes just to find her. I've shut her into my bedroom for the time being, with food and litter, since I don't want her to be stressed by the other pets.

I went in this morning to see if I could find her to give her some love. She was under my dresser, and clearly wanted some love. She came out by her own volition, meowing and rubbing against me. I started petting her head, and while she started purring, she was simultaneously hissing.

I wasn't sure what to do - hissing means bad, but she was actively soliciting my attention. I stopped, and she would come over, looking at me pleadingly. I thought maybe I'd just let her take the lead.

She kept running back and forth, rubbing against me. I patted her as she went by, and she seemed happy. She came by for more rubbing, and as I patted her again, she did an about face, hissed, swatted at me and her claw caught in my finger. Then she ran away.

I'm so confused. Also, bleeding.

Highly neurotic kitty as well. But she only hurts the ones she loves, and the ones she hates, okay... well she hurts pretty much everyone sometimes.

No -- not surprised. But certainly she should pick one. Purring or Hissing!

She does that -- she wants love, but she hates by nature. Let her rub you but don't pet her when she's agitated. Thanks again for taking her in ! Moti says thanks too.
