Sep. 6th, 2007 09:21 amWe've reached the part in the season where you can finally feel things changes.
Sure, it may be hot outside, but the breezes coming from the river have that twinge of fall to them. People are wearing longer-sleeved shirts, and the stylish New York ladies are packing their pashminas -- just in case.
School is progressing well. I was feeling anxious about Chemistry (part deux), but my new professor quelled any fears I may have had by having a PERSONALIZED CHEMISTRY STAR WARS CRAWL.
Seriously!
I spent most of the afternoon doing homework at school before I met up with Nic for a very late lunch. I don't find I get as much done at home, and something about school was exhausting enough to force me into naptime around 4.
But I'm nearly at the end of my first week! Tomorrow is my 8:30am Swahili Class From Hell™
dankna -- I'm presuming Games Club is back at Lerner, yes? Perhaps I'll go before joining Danielle X for Around the World.
Oh, and it's as though karma is mocking me -- I mocked Pippin on Tuesday, and of course, yesterday, there were posters up for Into the Woods -- one of my favorite musicals of all time. I was thinking about putting a poll up, to see if people thought I should audition, but Chris said "Do you want to be a veterinarian or a star of the stage?" -- and yea, I guess I'm at that point where one has to choose. Bugger.
Mason also said (though I hated him for saying it) "This is the price you pay for partying last year."
Fooie. Maybe when I'm full of riches (never) I'll launch my own production of it. Yea, yea... that's the ticket.
*sigh*
I'm not really getting enough done here -- I think it's time to go into school.
In other news...Lester eats bagels. Weird!
